Jazzabella were great, so easy & friendly to deal with, very professional too. The music (D Band) was great and suited our wedding day perfectly, although the speeches went on for so long they had to do a lot of sitting around waiting! But they were very patient. Everyone really enjoyed the music so thanks again.

"Wow, you were right - we did have the best band in Sydney! Everyone raved about how good you all were. The dance floor rocked & everyone was having so much fun. You have an amazing voice. Thank God you recommended we move the head table - best idea ever. We would happily act as your referee anytime"

"You have to hire this band! The singer, Rebecca, is so lovely & she has the sexiest voice! I am so glad that we did. The music is gorgeous. What a great band & Rebecca is someone who just glows with such a positive aura."
Rachael Quigley, The Bride 2000

"I have been using the sevices of Rebecca's band for over four years now and I must say she has been a wonderful source of musical service & I hope to continue this working relationship....She is a wonderful musician, and I, being a fairly harsh critic, believe she is one of the few truly talented musicians working in Sydney."
Claude Morello, Fearless Management 1999

"Her words & gestures unaccompanied are poetic; on stage her music is sheer magic"
Music Review 1999

" No matter what song she sings, the listener is always taken on an adventure or experience, only the direction of the journey changes. You are carried, height above ground, with the speed of sail determined by the core of Rebecca's co-writers Junichi and Gino. The listener is but a sailing-ship, her musicians the wind, sometimes strong and gusty while other times light and inviting. During the instrumentals this wind sweeps out of control, pushed along on quite a ride, and then more magic as Rebecca re-enters, taking control, steering, "tacking" port or starboard. For Rebecca is the captain, steering us this way or that taking us on such an emotional journey you'd never imagine possible. That is what the music of FREYjA is about, a journey, always an adventure."
Ivan Aksenov 1998

"From where did this depth of experience come? You'd expect a wizened trouper to be creating something like this! It's a debut, and it's fine stuff"
